Relaxing Pool Area

The pool at Merit Resort was absolutely lovely. It was clean and well-maintained, providing an ideal spot to cool off. On several occasions, I had the pool area almost to myself, which made lounging there all the more enjoyable. A perfect spot to unwind!

I had a mixed experience at this resort. The views from my room were simply breathtaking, and the staff was incredibly helpful, but the overall state of the resort left something to be desired. Our stay was quite disappointing overall. While the boutique resort had beautifully decorated rooms with a luxurious in-room jacuzzi, the aging accommodations and unsatisfactory cleanliness were major letdowns. The staff tried their best to assist us, but the amenities were severely lacking, especially at the lobby bar. Most importantly, the location offered a nice escape from the hustle of Chaweng, but the unpleasant smell around the area made it hard to enjoy the setting fully.
